Bill Capraro – Chairman, Cap Capital, Inc.

William (Bill) Capraro founded CIMCO Communications in 1986. Under his vision and leadership, CIMCO grew to become the largest privately held communications company in the Midwest, complete with its own data centers and voice facilities. Formerly, Mr. Capraro had built a successful real estate company.

Throughout his career, Mr. Capraro has served on numerous industry and charitable boards. From an industry perspective, he has been an ardent proponent of fair competition and industry advancement. He was a founding member of the Association of Communications Enterprises (ASCENT), now known as COMPTEL.

Mr. Capraro’s influence with political and governing organizations at both the local and federal level has helped drive key industry initiatives for change. He has been instrumental in building the membership base and donations for organizations for which he has served.

On March 17, 2010, CIMCO Communications was acquired by Comcast, making this the first time a cable company acquired a phone/communications company. Mr. Capraro is now the Chairman of Cap Capital, Inc., a private equity firm specializing in the Technology and Real Estate sectors.

Mr. Capraro is a member of the board of directors for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) of Chicago. He is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate Management Institute, Evanston, IL, and holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University, Winona, MN.

Joe LaManna, CFA

Joe LaManna currently serves as a member on the Board of Directors of three financial companies: Dealer Services Corporation; Gateway One Lending and Finance; and Marlin Business Bank. While Dealer Services and Gateway One are privately held companies, Marlin Business Bank is a Utah-based subsidiary of Marlin Business Services, which is a publicly traded company.

Until retiring in 2005, Mr. LaManna worked at William Blair & Company, LLC for 18 years. For 14 of those 18 years at William Blair, he was a sell-side analyst specializing in providing research and stock recommendations on companies in the financial and business services sectors. Mr. LaManna was recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as the top specialty finance analyst among regional brokers and research boutiques four years in a row (1994-1997).

For the other four of his 18 years at William Blair, Mr. LaManna was Director of Research and the youngest member of the firm’s Executive Committee. As Director of Research, he managed all aspects of the Equity Research Department, and he led a firm-wide mandate to expand the department significantly. He accomplished this by recruiting 12 experienced analysts from competitors, resulting in a 40% increase in senior analysts.

Prior to joining William Blair, Mr. LaManna was a senior bank analyst and vice president at Duff & Phelps, Inc. from 1983 until 1987. He started his professional career at Continental Bank of Chicago (now Bank of America), where he was an internal auditor from 1980 until 1982.

Mr. LaManna is also currently treasurer on the board of trustees of the Hinsdale Public Library. In addition, he is a member of the Hyde Park Angels, which is a Chicago-based organization that invests in early stage businesses.
