The Role
Information Technology Software Product Team is looking for a Director of Data Management to lead the Data Platform Team. We’re looking for a leader who can drive our data platform project move forward, and lead data analytics, including but not limited to data quality checks, data product builds.
Responsibilities
- Develop data models within a cloud-based data warehouse solution.
- Designing and implementing physical data models
- Design efficient algorithms for data integration, transformation, and quality check.
- Continuously improve the performance and scalability of the data platform.
- Partner with business analysts to craft stories and develop work items to satisfy those stories.
- Provide technical advice and assist end-users in solving problems.
- Serve as a key subject matter expert and drive the evolution of cloud-based Data Warehouse Solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, MS or related degree and 8+ years of related experience.
- In-depth knowledge of ANSI SQL
- 4+ years Data Warehouse architect and delivery experience
- 4+ years cloud data architect experience
- 4+ years delivering successful Data Analytics projects
- 4+ years ETL/ELT/Python programming skills including experience with pipeline orchestration tools, logging, monitoring & alerting, deep troubleshooting, and automated testing & deployments (CI/CD)
- 2+ years leading a development team, mentoring, reviewing code, assigning work Demonstrated experience working in all phases of full life cycle data analytics development: Requirements, Architecture, Design, Testing, and deployment Ability to collaborate with client technical executives on strategy, project portfolio management, best practices
- Power BI or Tableau Agile methodologies
- AWS or Azure cloud services o Relational and Columnar databases
- Snowflake Proficiency with data warehousing and modeling concepts.
