Description for IT Manager:
The IT Manager is responsible for the strategic management and execution of the company's IT infrastructure, Manufacturing ERP system, and Internal Controls. This role involves overseeing all IT operations, including managing department staff and network infrastructure, leading ERP implementation and optimization within a manufacturing environment, and developing reporting solutions to provide management with essential data for decision-making.
Responsibilities for IT Manager:
- Overseeing all IT operations including department staff and network infrastructure.
- ERP Implementation, integration, maintenance and optimization within a manufacturing environment.
- Develop reporting and data solutions (e.g.: dashboards) to ensure Management has key information to manage business objectives.
- Propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software to drive efficiencies and enhance the quality and effectiveness of information and existing processes.
- Manage and report on IT projects that drive organizational objectives.
- Liaising with other departments, determining and addressing their IT needs and requirements.
- Develop and enforce strong IT policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain good internal controls – NIST / CMMC compliant.
- Identify vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and Manage IT department KPI’s and scorecard.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) / Lean efforts within the department and cross-functionally in the broader organization.
Requirements for IT Manager:
- Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop IT team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ability to analyze complex data and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Extremely focused with a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project execution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong experience in C#
- Experience or knowledge in Lean methodologies is a plus.
