Description for Process Engineer(s), Senior, Mid & Entry Level:
Maturing startup with nearly 1B in funding is immediately looking to fill an exciting new role in a growing team dedicated to developing non-carrier added lutetium-177 for cancer therapies. The Process Engineer for Therapeutics will manage the execution of chemical experiments, lead design efforts for production equipment and interact with team members to optimize and scale production. A strong background in chemical handling is required along with a desire to step into multiple roles as needed.
The Sr Process Engineer is a leader in the field of process and equipment design and will provide influence into getting processes developed and turned over to production. This is a fast-paced product development cycle to help cure some of life-threatening forms of cancer and is looking for team members that fit well into this environment.
Responsibilities for Process Engineer(s), Senior, Mid & Entry Level:
Develops test plans, having the primary responsibility for following protocols
Co-develops test plans, providing experience and ideas for process development
Follows the lead of other scientists and engineers in developing equipment for processing and protection
Assists in all aspects of the production process from procurement to receipt, design, execution and chemical analysis
Responsible for maintaining laboratory functions and other routine tasks as required
Assists other projects and departments as required
Some travel may be required
Overtime may sometimes be necessary to complete required work assignment with little or no advance notice
Requirements for Process Engineer(s), Senior, Mid & Entry Level:
(For the Sr role, lighter requirements for mid or entry level)
BS in Chemical/Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry, Radiochemistry or Physics with 4+ years of relevant experience
Experience in Laboratory operations is required
Demonstrated experience with manufacturing within FDA GMP regulatory requirements is highly desired.
Experience or knowledge of nuclear process equipment and instrumentation is highly desired
Willingness to learn and understand innovative technology, instrumentation and technical processes
Ability to read from engineering drawings or schematics
Ability to follow written procedures and accurately record test data
Isotope/radio pharma a big plus
