Description for Service Engineer:
The Service Engineering Department ensures that all products across the company environment receive excellent technical support to meet our quality standards. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Service Engineer to be a critical part of our North America team. As Service Engineer, you will work closely with Customer Service, Validation, Operations, and Product teams to address and solve any technical issues with products and provide detailed reporting and analysis of issues to key stakeholders. 

Responsibilities for Service Engineer: 
  • Provide tier 3 technical support and guidance to the Customer Service team across the product suite
  • Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure that any customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Identify any technical blocking points or areas that require follow-up or investigation
  • Design and maintain documentation and communication processes, policies, and procedures for technical support to customers
  • Align with Project Managers to provide support when releasing a new product, software, or feature
  • Coordinate with the Quality department to investigate and identify any issues with products
  • Provide support to the Validation team for vehicle compatibility and functionality testing with our charging products
  • Report common complaints of customers to management in order to address the situation for future references
Requirements for Service Engineer:  
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or similar
  • Previous experience in validation, QA, testing, product engineering, or service engineering
  • Hands on experience and/or familiarity with system troubleshooting
  • Experience using ticketing systems (Salesforce, JIRA, Service Desk or similar)
  • Familiarity with electrical and/or mechanical engineering procedures
  • Interest in electric vehicles and renewable energies
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Flexible and open-minded attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience working directly with customers
Desired for Service Engineer:  
  • Experience with power electronics
  • Experience with electronics testing / backend / IOS & Android testing
  • Proficiency with programming languages, specifically Python or any Object-Oriented Language
  • Experience with MySQL / Snowflake
  • Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus
