If you are a full stack developer with .Net Core and Azure cloud experience, come talk to us. Experience with rules processing or rich UI notifications preferred. React or Terraform desired but not required. Midmark RTLS uses automated, accurate data to improve the experience between the patient and caregiver. Midmark RTLS technology optimizes time spent with each patient while increasing patient throughput, capacity, and room utilization. Additionally, the asset tracking and management effectively locates and manages equipment to focus on patient care, saving time and capital expenses.
 
JOB SUMMARY:
As a component of the product development lifecycyle, analyze, design, program and test computer software programs and applications.  Influence the way we work by researching and recommending improvements to tools and processes.  Influence the technology Midmark uses in products and influence the processes we use creating products.
 
ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Maintain, support, debug, and enhance existing software applications.
  • Develop conceptual designs to aid in development process.
  • Recommend product revisions or enhancements based on product feedback loop and changes in technology.
  • Assess value and risk of technical debt to determine priority.
  • Create or update user stories to support software design concepts.
  • Create and update software documentation (specifications, design documentation, etc.) as required.
  • Provide direction, input and review of software product installation guides, user manuals or other end consumer product documentation.
  • Develop or provide work estimates based on analysis of effort needed to satisfy requirements.
  • Perform verification activities that demonstrate requirements are implemented effectively.
  • Participate in product evaluations and sprint reviews to better understand needs of the customer.
  • Participate in design reviews.

  • Work within cross-functional teams to complete project/product objectives.
  • Submit ideas for product and/or process improvements for current products.
  • Assist in final validation as needed.
  • Review and provide feedback on test plans and user stories
 
SECONDARY DUTIES:
  • Increase knowledge in aspects of software development.
  • Adhere to software development policies & procedures.
  • Apply principles and techniques of software development.
  • Recommend improvements to software development procedures.
  • Recommend selection, approval, and acquisition of hardware, software, networking components, and services.
  • Manage and develop installation tools, and materials for product releases.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on technology and technological advances both in the discipline and the industry, and use that knowledge to influence the Midmark product technology roadmaps
  • Provide mentoring to teammates, contractors and interns.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field and 4 years relevant experience preferred, or 8 years equivalent education and experience in software development, RTLS, or related experience.
COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with Microsoft programming languages (C#, VB.Net, .NET Core).
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and use that to influence change.
  • Ability to prepare Test Protocols and Test Reports.
