Description for Software Product Manager:

Reporting to the Director of Software Product Management, the Product Manager will work with company’s strategic partners and internal functional teams, but specifically be responsible for the contact center software/Helpdesk/Zendesk tools and create highly functional, attractive centralized communications which will include chat, texting and optimize the co. platform.

Co. is a Blackstone Portfolio Company (700B investment firm) and is an owner and operator of high-quality, single-family, residential homes across 40 states.  

Responsibilities for Software Product Manager:

The Software Product Team is looking for an experienced Product Manager to scale the customer contact and support operations products. The role will need to identify user engagement, conversation and retention improvements, for both B2B and B2C product users; will need to instrument the user journey on product experience, find friction, and build innovative products & features to speed development and deliver an amazing omni-channel customer service experience. This role will also drive design and build our channel management that supports both inbound and outbound communication, which includes email, ticketing, call, text message, chat (robot or live), and knowledge base-driven FAQs.

The role plays at the intersection of Product and Marketing for future residents and agents, Product and Customer Service for current residents as well as Product and B2B strategic partnerships. This role will be able to align analytical tools and data with marketing strategy, covering the entire funnel from marketing acquisition to product usage, and help achieve high customers’ satisfaction level.

Requirements for Software Product Manager:

  • 2 yrs in a Product Manager or directly related software product role (Associate Product Mgr)

  • Bachelors (in technical space or business/ marketing/ related)

  • Appetite to learn (this is whole new team)

  • Tech Savvy generally-someone who enjoys getting hands dirty “in the weeds” to own an improved customer experience that feels connected and centralized, flows well to support ideal before and after customer software experience)

  • Can use and develop better software tools
