As aData Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing advanced data solutions that drive the business intelligence and analytics for higher education. This DA will play a critical role in developing a cross-team data architecture strategy, focusing on SQL Server, Change Data Capture (CDC), and the creation of robust data pipelines that support enterprise-wide data integration and transformation.
This role will require you to learn new tools and technologies quickly, and you should have in-depth database knowledge as well as basic programming skills. You will help to build efficient and stable data pipelines which can be easily maintained in the future. You should have expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets.

Responsibilities for Data Architect:
- Propose, architect, and implement internal data pipelines from source warehouses to application and cloud databases.
- Create strategies to reduce complexity and increase scale for existing internal data processes.
- Collaborate with other data engineers and developers to execute modernization strategies.
- Develop cloud data platform solutions for external consumption.
Requirements for Data Architect:
- 5+ years’ of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Expert at T-SQL and MS SQL Server
- Experience with change data capture and methods of data propagation and replication.
- Comfortable with .Net and C# (highly preferred)
- Snowflake experience (highly preferred)
- Highly autonomous
