Description for Implementation Specialist:The Health IT Enterprise Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the overall project management and implementation of our client’s medical software solutions, including HL7 interfaces, Web API’s and EMR/EHR software integrations for mid to large enterprise accounts. EMR/EHR integrations/interfaces include, but are not limited to: Cerner, Allscripts, EPIC, Nextgen, GE Centricity, Athena, eClinicalWorks.
Responsibilities for Implementation Specialist:
- Lead technical pre-sales calls with potential customers who are interested in Client's portfolio
- Lead software implementation projects throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Manage the implementation process (Installation, Configuration and Validation)
- Configure and test HL7 interfaces, including ORU and ADT messages with customer’s EMR
- Review and analyze HL7 messages to determine what company software solution we can offer that meets their needs
- Intermediate level understanding, or ability to learn company Web Services or API Messaging
- Provide support for existing software application installations, including advanced troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot moderate to advanced complexity software/hardware issues with internal and external customers via phone, email, chat, and remote assist software
- Troubleshoot moderate to advanced complexity Windows operating system and network communications issue
Requirements for Implementation Specialist:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CompTIA Project+, Network+, Cloud+, Security+, Linux+, Qvera QIE Level 1 & 2,
- Intermediate level understanding of Health Level 7 (HL7), including experience setting up, configuring and supporting HL7 based software (Including ADT messages)
- Qvera QIE (Install, Configure and Troubleshoot)
- Mirth (Install, Configure and Troubleshoot)
- Understanding of basic SQL database, querying and methods
- Intermediate level understanding, or ability to learn company Web Services or API Messaging
- Experience in a customer facing role for either technical software implementations, project management, or IT in the software, healthcare or consulting industries
- Experience with project management working with individuals across multiple levels and roles within an organization
- Experience working with EMR/EHR such as Cerner, Allscripts, EPIC, Nextgen, GE Centricity, Athena, eClinicalWorks, amongst others
- Experience with hospital system implementations with HL7 interfaces to common healthcare integration engines and working with blended teams of on-site and remote resources
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Server, SQL, IIS, SQL Server
- Experience working with EMR/EHR integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering.
