Description for MES Consultant:
As an MES consultant, you will be responsible for direct client engagements, providing expert guidance and support in the implementation and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of MES technologies, a strong background in the manufacturing process, and a proven track record of successfully advising clients on MES solutions.
Responsibilities for MES Consultant:
- Work closely with clients to understand their manufacturing operations, goals, and challenges.
- Assess current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for MES implementation and improvement.
- Develop and present comprehensive MES strategies and solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities for client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business users to define and maintain data architectures and process flows.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the MES implementation lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to MES.
Requirements for MES Consultant:
- Minimum of 10 - years’ experience with MES applications and upper-level systems in general.
- Strong understanding of MES concepts, methodologies, and techniques.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and data integration.
- Experience with various MES platforms.
- The ability to work with and provide direction to the installation and commissioning team during the debugging and validation phases of the project.
- Must be self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- C# Programming, SQL, and working with Power BI is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
