Description for Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer:
The Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer will own NCR investigations, field actions and communication with US & Japan manufacturing and warehouse teams. This is an individual contributor role with growth potential.
Responsibilities for Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer:
- Own NCR investigations, field actions and communication with US & Japan Manufacturing and Warehouse Teams on quality issues, field actions, reporting and CI related activities
- Must be comfortable with cross functional responsibilities, reporting to the VP Engineering, and be able to read schematics and understand hardware interfaces
- Light travel to Long Beach CA, Irving TX (once a year to Japan)
Requirements for Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer:
- 5+ years in EE (hardware) background with roots in design/DFM/Quality/NCR or related
- Able to pivot often, and prioritize engineering actions with the warehouse/technical operations
- Ability to read and understand hardware schematics
- Excellent documentation practices and communication skills to work with US and Japan teams.
- Able to get through a technical, electronics hardware screening
- Experience with NCRs
- Experience with RF based products
- Experience with hardware interfaces
- Experience with wireless communication peripherals (such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular communication, Zigbee, baseband or broadband etc.)
