EHS Lean Manager(Direct hire)

Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 base salary plus bonus. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.

Responsibilitiesfor EHS Lean Manager:
- Risk Assessment and Management: Identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing controls to mitigate risks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Training and Development: Developing and delivering EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
- Lean Implementation: Integrating lean principles to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in both EHS and lean initiatives.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitating communication between team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing EHS data to identify trends, measure performance, and report on key metrics.
Duties for EHS Lean Manager:
- Conducting risk assessments and hazard evaluations to identify potential dangers in the workplace.
- Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate or eliminate identified risks.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Developing and delivering training programs for employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Managing waste, reducing carbon footprint, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and regulatory compliance.
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans.
- Conducting regular drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of safety programs and making adjustments as needed.
- Staying informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Lead Safety Committee and record monthly meeting minutes
- Monitor and replenish PPE and first aid supplies
- Facilitate lean process improvement from idea to implementation.
- 5S system implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement.
- Define, implement, and maintain standards to agreed upon targets.
- Identify, facilitate, and deliver lean transformation projects and drive deliverables.
- Perform lean audits to assess baseline, monitor progress, identify opportunities.
- Maintain lean road map and summarize findings for monthly reporting.
Requirements for EHS Lean Manager:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience with a minimum of 3+ years in EHS, 1+ year of Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous improvement, and 1+ years in assembly related manufacturing.
- Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt preferred and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
