Description for Electrical Engineer:
We are seeking a Electrical Engineer to guide a small team of Electrical Engineers in the development, design, and production of electronic products. The ead EE will collaborate closely with the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead and Firmware/Software Team Lead to ensure successful project execution. This role requires strong project management skills, a solid foundation in hardware engineering, and the ability to serve as the key technical resource for the electronics side of the devices.
Responsibilities forElectrical Engineer:
- Prioritize engineering activities, pivot as needed, and provide direct support to stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams, particularly those based in India, to coordinate project efforts and achieve objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor and mentor for the electrical engineering team, offering guidance and expertise in design projects for New Product Development and Sustaining Activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, particularly in intrinsically safe product design.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both locally and globally, to ensure alignment and progress towards project goals.
Requirements for Electrical Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in hardware design projects
- Proven experience leading, advising, and guiding electrical engineering teams.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize activities and pivot as needed
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams
- Strong Altium Designer experience
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Direct experience with intrinsically safe products
- Previous experience working with global teams
