Description for Field Service Engineer:
Home based position for mechanically inclined, and tech-savvy Field Service Engineer to join our expanding team in the Nashville area. This position is responsible for servicing hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics, with 1-3 site visits per day on average. Will mostly focus on servicing Leica’s surgical scope systems.
Responsibilities forField Service Engineer:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on customer-owned Surgical Microscopes
- Assemble, set up, and disassemble demonstration equipment
- Assemble and install customer purchased equipment
- Provide technical support via phone to customers
- Upsell repair services offered to customers
Requirements forField Service Engineer:
- AS degree preferred, but will consider candidates based upon experience
- 2+ years of mechanical field service experience
- Strong communication skills, with ability to explain technical matters to non technical staff
- Strong organization skills, with ability to manage daily and weekly schedules as needed
- Ability to listen for upselling opportunities
