We are seeking to hire an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Manager, a pivotal role for someone highly skilled in both hardware and software. This is an exciting opportunity to make a major contribution to manage to a new facility, handling tasks ranging from wiring control systems to managing PLCs and HMIs; 90% of the Instruments and Controls have been procured, bringing the company closer to manufacturing a critical isotope, LU-177, for cancer imaging. As a future KEY provider of life-saving imaging solutions for the U.S. market, Shine is positioning itself as a leader in this essential field.
Role
- Oversee I&C operations for a greenfield project, ensuring seamless integration of systems in a cutting-edge environment.
- Lead a small team, starting with one Electrical Engineer, with plans for team expansion.
- Collaborate on process flowcharts and scheduling to support operational goals.
- Embrace a hands-on approach, tackling unique challenges
- Focus on instrumentation and controls without responsibility for safety aspects (they have this covered)
Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on experience in greenfield or brownfield projects in a highly regulated industry (nuclear, pharma, aerospace)
- Substantial proficiency in both hardware and software applications for I&C (Allen Bradley a plus)
- Strong organizational skills, with experience in process design and project scheduling.
- Comfortable working in an innovative and dynamic environment where challenges are part of the journey.
