Description for LabVIEW Developer:
The LabVIEW Developer will be developing, maintaining, and administering LabVIEW code for manufacturing and validation processes. This position focuses on creating and sustaining automated test programs for production and product verification, ensuring efficient testing, data collection, and analysis. The role collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop user-friendly interfaces and streamline processes. Additionally, the LabVIEW Developer manages software organization, deployment, and licensing to support production demands while contributing to product quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities for LabVIEW Developer:
- Develop test program interfaces for ATE test fixtures.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to create production test programs.
- Partner with Manufacturing to optimize processes and front panel interfaces.
- Design and implement product verification and validation test programs.
- Build automated test programs to support Engineering needs.
- Develop programs for product configuration and testing.
- Automate data collection and analysis to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Manage LabVIEW software administration, maintenance, and support.
- Organize and maintain code repositories.
- Establish structured software architecture to meet demand.
- Deploy executables and manage license subscriptions.
- Work toward assigned development goals.
Requirements for LabVIEW Developer:
- 2-5 years of Strong LabVIEW skills and experience
- Associate’s Degree, Trade or Technical School
- Hands-on experience of working with instrumentation drivers for data acquisition devices
- Experience working with instrumentation protocols like GPIB, Serial, Modbus, TCP/IP, USB, I2C, SPI
- Familiar with test executive software
- Familiar with databases and database management systems
Nice to Have for LABVIEW Developer:
- Knowledge of and experience in the HVAC industry
- LabVIEW certified (CLD, CLA)
- Bachelor’s Degree
