Annual Salary Range: $70 – 120K. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.Description for Manufacturing Engineer:
The Manufacturing Engineer/SDS Coordinator is responsible for determining operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met. This position researches the purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment and ensures SDS compliance.Responsibilities for Manufacturing Engineer:
- Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacturing floor
- Create/edit/maintain necessary documentation – including MSDS sheets
- Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring
- Assess the ability of raw materials and their safety and environmental impact of the facility
- Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of manufacturing process through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel
- Assume responsibility for safety/environmental issues and ongoing performance of processes
- Check chemicals coming into the facility and ensure that the proper SDS sheets are available for said products
Requirements for Manufacturing Engineer:
- 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience (will consider other candidates with appropriate education and skillset)
- BS in Engineering
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment; comfort and familiarity diagnosing and supporting maintenance of machinery
- Prefer experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
