Description for Mechanical Engineer:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer capable of using Solid Edge or Solidworks software and a background in sheet metal design. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative designs, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure product quality.
Responsibilities forMechanical Engineer:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Solid Edge, with a
- focus on sheet metal fabrication.
- Create 2D and 3D models, detailed drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing
- and quoting purposes.
- Collaborate with product development teams with customers to understand design
- requirements and provide engineering solutions.
- Revise and improve designs based on feedback from customers and manufacturing facilities.
Requirements forMechanical Engineer:
- BSME.
- Experience with Solid Edge or Solid Works software including 3D modeling and 2D drawing generation.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with the team in the office setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Curious, open minded and a driven attitude to make a difference.
