Description for Project Coordinator:
The Project Coordinator will have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires expertise in project documentation, vendor selection and management, budget management, resource coordination, and scheduling. The Project Coordinator will work to support the members of the PMO, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet all necessary requirements.
Responsibilities for Project Coordinator:
- Collaborate with Project Managers, stakeholders, PMO members, and vendors to ensure the on-time delivery of projects.
- Maintain and update project timelines and documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Take meeting notes, track action items, and ensure follow-up on key tasks to ensure project progress.
- Assist with vendor selection and manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Track resource allocation and scheduling, ensuring optimal use of available resources.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the PMO team by ensuring consistency and alignment across all project stages.
- Support both Agile and Waterfall methodologies in project execution, depending on project requirements.
Requirements for Project Coordinator:
- 4+ years of project coordination experience.
- Strong experience with project documentation, including creating, maintaining, and organizing project files.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience with vendor selection, management, and relationship building.
- Solid understanding of budget management, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, including project managers, PMO members, stakeholders, and vendors.
