Description for Senior Associate, Security Analyst:
The Senior Security Analyst role is responsible for strengthening and scaling the organization’s enterprise security program by leading key governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. The position focuses on managing vendor risk, user access governance, regulatory alignment, and incident response readiness while ensuring security controls are consistent, auditable, and aligned with broader business priorities. It blends operational execution with program leadership to mature enterprise security practices across the organization.
Responsibilities for Senior Associate, Security Analyst:
- Lead enterprise user access governance including quarterly access reviews, risk scoring, and executive reporting
- Own and enhance the Third Party Risk Management program including vendor tiering and risk scoring
- Manage administration and optimization of ProcessUnity for vendor risk workflows
- Drive alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and coordinate remediation of control gaps
- Partner with Finance and external auditors to support SOX ITGC compliance and evidence preparation
- Evaluate and improve Microsoft tenant security posture during migration efforts
- Lead incident response coordination including tabletop exercises and post incident reviews
- Develop and maintain security metrics dashboards to track risk, remediation progress, and audit findings
- Create, update, and mature enterprise security policies and standards
- Provide guidance to cross functional teams to ensure adherence to security controls
- Monitor emerging threats, identity and access management practices, and regulatory changes
Requirements for Senior Associate, Security Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- Five to six years of experience in security or risk management within an enterprise environment
- Experience working with third party risk management processes and tools, ideally ProcessUnity
- Exposure to established enterprise security programs and governance structures
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams
- Solid foundational understanding of security principles, with emphasis on governance and risk rather than deep technical specialization
Nice to Have Requirements for Senior Associate, Security Analyst:
- Experience building or maturing a formal Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) governance framework
- Ability to design KPI or metrics dashboards for audit tracking, risk visibility, and remediation progress
- Prior experience leading incident response tabletop exercises and after-action reviews
- Exposure to SOX-regulated or other highly regulated environments
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across IT, Finance, HR, and Legal teams
