The Challenge

A global company composed of many different business groups was experiencing massive growth through multiple acquisitions. This led to a sudden increase in the amount of physical and virtualized servers in locations across the US. The company’s IT manager needed assistance with quickly adding several experienced systems administrators to his team to help rein in the new environments while not disrupting their services.

The Solution

180 Engineering met with the IT manager to ask questions around his current needs. We discovered that he was seeking multiple contract systems administrators who would be available for at least a year as they worked to integrate all the newly-acquired environments. As soon as the technical knowledge and soft skills needed were discussed, our recruitment teams quickly went to work sourcing our internal network of systems admins from our database.
