Forbes AGAIN Ranks 180 Engineering as the Top Specialized Engineering Recruiting Firm

Recruiting engineers and other technical talent has become an increasingly specialized proposition, and 180 Engineering continues to rise to the challenge. 180 Engineering, a talent acquisition firm focused exclusively on filling engineering and IT roles, was once again ranked as the top specialized engineering recruiting firm on Forbes’ 2020 America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms and America’s Best Professional Recruiting Firms lists.

Forbes partners with market research company Statista to compile a list of America’s best recruiting firms. It breaks the list into two categories—firms specializing in professionals earning $100,000 or more (executive search firms) and recruiting firms specializing in positions paying less than $100,000 (professional search firms).

To compile the lists of best recruiting firms, Statista surveyed 25,000 recruiters and 5,000 job candidates and human resources professionals who had worked with talent acquisition firms within the last three years—recruiting firms could not nominate themselves. These audiences were asked to rank the firms they have worked with based on a variety of criteria including process, communication, and candidate quality.

One of the thousands of talent acquisition firms in the country, 180 Engineering moved up the rankings from 2019 to a position of 21st on the executive recruiting firms list and 27th on the professional recruiting firms list—only 69 firms made both lists. And, as in 2019, 180 Engineering was the top-ranked specialized engineering firm in the country.
